Text animation word by word with position

PostMon Mar 15, 2021 12:28 pm

Hi!
I got a question, I know you can animate text appearing word by word with Write On tool.
But what can I do if I want a text to appear word by word with position?

I'm not sure what you mean by this, can you elaborate?

There are multiple ways to do this, but one way is to add a Text+ node for each word. Then merge them together and finally merge them with a Background node as the background to a final Merge node. Then add a Rectangle Mask node to the mask input of the last Merge node to mask out the Text+ nodes and keyframe their centers to animate them up at staggered times. You can also just add one Text+ node and use the Follower modifier to do the same thing. There are videos on Youtube that explain the Follower modifier.

The easiest way to do it is to add a follower modifier and set it to word by word.

Except that this isn't an option in the current version of the follower modifier as far as I know.
