How do I filter by source in the color tab?

PostTue Mar 30, 2021 7:56 am

I am sure I used to be able to do this.

I have three cameras and have produced a timeline with the Sync Bin.

I have color corrected the three frames with my color card.

How do I select the three sets of clips so I can apply the correction to the other clips?

I am sure there was a filter by source facility but I cannot find it in the Color Tab.

EDIT - FOUND IT. It is in a drop down to the right of Clips at the top right of the screen.

Yes I have RTFM and it is on page 2401.......

EDIT PS. How is it that I got 203 views within the first ten seconds of posting this?

Bots. Usually search engines.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Near the clip title there is a drop down menu here you can add a custom filter.
Not near the computer at the moment.

The other suggestion I spotted.

Thanks

Hi
Sorry I was wrong you can find it under the View menu.
“Timeline Thumbnail Mode”
Quite a powerful tool. It will arrange the thumbnail by source timecode and not by record timecode and I think by source name as well. You can read more about it in the manual under:“sorting and filtering clips in the thumbnail timeline” chapter.

Now I need to know how to filter by source after making a sequence using the Edit tab and a multicam file.

I have clicked on Filter by Source and it is not working. I'll post a screenshot. How would I correct one frame/clip from one of my three cameras and copy that correction to the other times that camera was used? Yes, I could do it by eye but that would be slow and prone to error. This is my screen.

So what is that supposed to do to help me, dariobigi?

This is supposed to be a forum for people to help each other.

Not to make iconic questions.
