There is only 1 version which is beta with M1 native support. Not a big choice :)

Correct. Just get the latest beta for 17.1. if you want to try it now.
But I wouldn't expect perfect stability, it's new hardware, a relatively new OS and beta software. Most of all, avoid all plug-ins that are not yet native. It works pretty well here and is even decoding H.265 in 10 bit 422 by hardware (Studio).

Yes, 17.1 is final now and works for me. But devices for TB2 don't work and probably never will.

I have a MacBook Pro M1 and installed resolve 17.1 and desktop video 12.0. I'm trying to connect my ultrastudio monitor 3G with my SDI monitor. Desktop video doesn't recognize my mini monitor. Also tried the TB2 without succes indeed.

Do I miss something?

There is no version 16 for M1 Macs. The current version 17.1.1 is running fine, though.

Re: Mac mini M1 - Big Sur - Issues UltraStudio Recorder 3G

OK, this is a long shot, but...
Anyone else using a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Recorder G3 into a Mac Mini M1? I think it's causing glitches in my signal.
It's also causing audio clocking issues with my Rodecaster Pro.
Here's what I am talking about, using Streamyard:

None of these issues are present on Zoom calls, mind you.
Here's one from Zoom:

Mac OS 11.2.2
Desktop Video 10.8.2
Driver 12.0

Resolve doesn't like variable frame rates. Are any of your media VFR?
