Resolve not loading large project.

Hello! My resolve project freezes while loading and shows no errors. The program locks up and I have to close it with task manager (on Windows).

Resolve us updated to 17.1.1 and below are logs and nfo.

It is only this project. When I try to export the project, it freezes and then crashes just the same way as when opening it.

Is it in a disk database?

You have provided a dxdiag file and a .NFO file. We need the .NFO file, so that's good.

We also need a Resolve diagnostics log file. After a crash, restart Resolve and load or start a new project, so you can access the Resolve Help menu. In the Resolve Help menu, select "Create Diagnostics Log on Desktop". Send us a link to that file.

And do the above immediately after a crash caused by trying to load or export the file, where you have to force quit.

I also see in the most recent Windows crash log that you were running Resolve 17.0. If you haven't already, install the current 17.1.1 release and see if it still has the issue.

Also, wondering if there is any privacy concerns for these logs? Also, can you see project file names and details in the project file? There may be sensitive data there.

The only projects I see referenced in the logs are:

fred 3-31 bw
marks
ff

But looks like all except perhaps ff are loading.

Is one of those the project you have the issue with? And which of your 3 databases is the project in?

ff was made just to create the file. Smithton is the database, and KC trailer 2 is the project.

OK, so in this folder:

J\Smithton backup\Resolve DB\Resolve Projects\Users\guest\Projects (or something similar to this)

Should be a folder named KC trailer 2

Zip that folder, and provide a link to the zip file.

The dev team is looking into the issue.

Working on 2 feature films for Cannes as we speak, both around 90 min. - they both load just fine. Looks like it's not a Resolve problem per se.

Hello! Any updates? Is there any way I can get my timeline back? Is there a way just to retrieve the information?
