Decklink Micro SDI M.2 inside USB Enclosure?

Am I Crazy? or will a Decklink M.2 card work inside a M.2 to USB-C enclosure? My head wants it to work, but my gut is telling it this won't work because the USB bus is on a different access level to the CPU than a straight PCI slot?

Great idea, however I'm not sure if Ricardo really ment that he actual uses the Decklink Micro in such a case. But if you use m2 "pci-e" based nvme SSD cases (not the m2 "sata" ones) I give you high chance. It will however vary depending on the USB to PCI-E chipset inside those cases...
