Speed Editor and rendering out

PostFri Apr 16, 2021 10:02 am

I found a strange behavior, when touching a key on the Speed Editor during rendering out, the process stops immediately. This happens always not sporadic.
I waited a long time but nothings happens.
Restarting is the only solution or not tapping on the keyboard of course.

Are we the only ones with this "problem"?

Easy advice: don't hit any keys and I bet it'll keep rendering.

When we render, we stay far away from the keyboards and control surfaces, I hang a sign that says "Do Not Touch! Render in Progress!" on the main GUI screen, and I take a break. And nothing is running in the background and we make sure no drives are connected or disconnected in the background.

Sounds like sarcasm.

A well-written program should be resistant to accidental keystrokes while rendering.

To me, it sounds like an idea that will produce success.

Patient: "Doctor, it hurts when I do this"

Doctor: "Then don't do that"
