ATEM Mini & tally interface

Does the GPI and Tally Interface box work with ATEM Mini series of switchers?
If so, what am I missing -I have tried both Mini Pro and Mini Extreme ISO without success, all updated to the latest firmware.
Working fine with the Television Studio Pro HD (this probably answers my question, just hoping some got it working)

Would say YES!! It's the same IP Protocol.
But honestly never tested it..

Are you sure you didnt make a config error by ip adresses or something??

That was my thoughts - it should work but so far no luck.
My networking knowledge/skills are rudimentary at best so very possible I've got something wrong - that's why I was hoping someone could give me a definitive YES (or NO) so I don't keep working on something that is never going to work.
