I've posted this in other thread re my resolve crashing before opening. I'm trying a clean install, not sure if it's connected, so wanted to ask the more general question, as far as Macs go.
I copied the details from the YT video I found on the forum and ran a terminal search, deleting the majority of files, but a couple still hang around, that can't be found when checking where they're meant to be.
/Users/lornethomson/Library/Application Support/CrashReporter/DaVinci Resolve Project Server_E1C53E8F-59D1-57CD-A620-54C466CAE65A.plist
/Users/lornethomson/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve
/Users/lornethomson/Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve
A normal search also brings up two files - zero bytes "DaVinci Resolve" and "DaVinci Control Panels Set Up", both white with the top right corners turned. They just say application when I check their properties. Neither can be deleted.
Any idea how I get rid of the two files mentioned, and find the elusive other couple?
