Hi everyone!
I was pleased to learn that the Constellation 8K is now able to have its SDI outputs routed by a Videohub Control panel! Great news, BMD!
I also have questions for Constellation 8K owners:
- is there still no way to delay the (PGM) inputs audio? The ATEM mini has been doing it for a year now and, well, it is a powerful tool to have in a pro switcher...
- what is your use of a Timecode directly generated by the ATEM?
If the same TC is sent by the ATEM to the (URSA minis) cameras and the PGM (Hyperdeck) recorders, those TCs won't match anymore on an NLE timeline because of the ATEM video processing delay, right? So what am I missing?
In general, my main request is to have a real Fairlight integration in the ATEMs but more precisely:
- real routing possibilities;
- a delay option for any audios (and TC) inputs;
- a control of all that audio with a Fairlight Desktop Console (well, if you want me to buy one!
);
- a Blackmagic Audiohub MADI racks with XLRs I/O (please!)
- a Constellation 4K 1M/E 1U rack or a Constellation 4K 2M/E 2U rack (I am actually on my knees...)
