The new screen is supposed to be plausable to 1000 nits, you can also have a Thunderbolt to USB and HDMI breakout box now and maybe hook up some color panels and power a reference display.

Probably 1000nits on 2% surface.... I doubt that it will have the power and the battery!

Now if Apple would only let me run MacOS on it. Tempted to get one as a second portable display, but it'd be nice to offload some processing to the M1.
would workstation -> scopes with NDI -> web browser of choice work? can an iPad be forced into 2084? can a iPad read metadata should it be injected before the scopes?
i also would find a use in sending 2084 signal to producer / director / dp iPad
