How to add intro and music

PostThu Jun 17, 2021 7:40 am

I have an ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and I have everything set up and would like to add intro and outro videos that are prerecorded and I have not found a good solution to do this easily. Can anyone recommend the easiest way to do this?

I also would like to add music or small sounds to the ATEM while streaming or recording; please provide any recommendations. I was thinking that I can play the audio or sound on my computer and just have the audio from the computer active on the stream is this possible?

Best solution is a program called Mitti, but it is for Mac. On PC use VLC and control it with Bitfocus Companion. If you are a mac guy, you might also like Cue Labs.

Get a Raspberry Pl 4 with PlayoutBee Software. It appears to be a Hyper Deck and can play prerecorded videos.

We use Playback Pro for all our live video playback. You need a mac to use it ( ), but it's really good software.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

+1 Behaves like the play section of a Hyper Deck and the developer is very responsive on Discord.

I'll take the opposite view. I often get useful info from new user posts.

I wasn't looking for another pre-record playback solution, but I learned about 2 applications I never heard of in the replies, both of which warrant a look. Very helpful!

Another very simple way is to put them into a Keynote presentation and play them from there - if you do it on an iPad then you can play them by touching the screen. With the audio switched to on you can also play just sounds.
