Audio Wave forms not showing on edit or fairlight pages.

PostSun Jun 20, 2021 12:38 am

Hi, years ago I was using the free version of Davinci, must have been 12 or 13 version and I had audio wave forms showing up with no problems. Then last year after version 15 free or so, the wave forms disappeared and I've watched every YouTube video and read every forum post about how to fix the issue to no avail. So I thought if I purchased the Studio version I would get the audio wave forms back but that did not happen.
Can anyone help?

U need a cache drive location that resolve can write to, if u haven’t set one up the default is the first drive listed in preferences, media storage
U also need to have waveforms turned on in the edit/Fairlight timeline options popup

And track height needs to be enough to see them.

R u on 17.2?

Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.
