Video not showing up in the viewers

I had issues with with the colour page after I added film convert to my node tree, I could not see any visible changes. I then used the offset on another node to see if that would work but again no visible changes. Shortly afterwards the viewers and external monitor stopped displaying the clips altogether. After restarting the iMac, the problem persists. So far I have tried to revert to an earlier version of Resolve (Resolve 17.2) and back to Resolve 17.2.1, I also switched the GPU from auto to OpenCL and restarted but still the problem persists.

It seems specifically related to the colour page as if I open the project and use the edit page only everything seems to be fine until I switch to the colour page where the clips won't display.
