Dragging second video only imports audio

Hello,
Since I use version 17, when I drag(import) a second clip to the timeline only imports the audio and not the video.
I have always to createa new timeline, copy everything I had and only a that moment the importation works.

I upgraded it 2 times but the problem still continues

Actually I'm using Davinci Resolve 17.2.2 build 4 (the last one) on Windows 10.

What you describe sounds like the clip type is not supported in resolve so just the audio is read correctly.

can you play the clips in the media page, viewer, from the storage or media pool?

Give us details of your system. What is the source of your video clips, and what frame rate and codec are they?

No, it is supported because when I create a new timeline, then I recopy all the elements from the old timeline AND THEN I drag again the clip works perfectly. Then I continue working until I try to drag another clip or image and the same problem happens.

I didnt remember having this problem with Resolve 16
