I have also experienced this issue under build 17.2.2. In Fairlight, double-clicking the channel EQ window should open the channel EQ as specified in the literature. However, with this current build, that stopped working entirely or somewhat randomly at times.
I worked with DVR Support email and a resolution couldn't be found after several days. The obvious workaround is to use the multi-band EQ instead of the channel EQ, but their qualities are different. For voice tracks, I prefer the channel EQ (assuming the master audio was adequately recorded).
Perhaps the only fix for this is to wait for another upgrade. Until then, I'll use the multi-band EQ or external hardware EQ for everything.
