Can C mount lenses be used on the BMCC EF with an adapter

PostThu Sep 05, 2013 11:32 pm

Hey has anyone tried or know if C mount tv lenses can be used on the BMCC EF mount with a lens adapter? I was trying to figure out if it would work or not.

Thanks for any help with this :D

It is possible, but most lenses are going to vignette pretty heavily. I have heard, though I am not certain, that most super16 c mount lenses of 25mm or greater have a large enough image circle to cover the sensor, but do your own research to be sure.

Actually, my answer only applies to the MFT version of the camera. It isn't possible on the EF mount due to the flange distance. Didn't read carefully enough.
