Hotkey "P" opens Cinema Viewer except I programmed it elsewh

PostThu Jul 22, 2021 12:58 am

So I programmed a keyboard customization with "P" to turn on/off "Live Media Preview". Sometimes it works but only if I have the Source or Timeline VIEWER windows selected/highlighted. If I click the Timeline, then P opens full screen Cinema Display but does not close Cinema Display when hitting P again. To close the Cinema Display I have to use the normal hotkeys command+F. If I click the Timeline window, Media Pool window or even the Metadata window the P opens full screen Cinema Display.

It's weird there are two shortcuts for the same thing. Only idea I have is to choose another for the Live Media Preview.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

So it was doing this because "P" was also programmed to open Cinema Viewer along with command+F. Don't know how the P got programmed to Cinema Viewer but I deleted it and all's well in the world again.
