Files that import /play / display in free version Resolve 17

PostWed Jul 28, 2021 5:15 am

Hi Forum,

What restrictions exist in Resolve 17 (free version) to importing, playing and displaying video file types. I recently imported 10 bit Panasonic Lumix .MOV 4K 10bit files to discover that only the audio component of the video file imported. Would the same apply to say BM RAW 4K 12bit files? Thanks

No, BRAW will import just fine.
Some higher quality GOP formats will not be read in the free version and all of them will be much slower (depending on your hardware) on a PC.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
