Use Software controller unconnected to ATEM

ATEM fixed in church with cameras etc attached. Only way to use software controller is to attach to the ATEM. I need to be able to prepare for streaming independently of the ATEM, but the SC software insists on being connected to the ATEM. Any suggestions?

unfortunately this is not possible

ATEM software control works over Ethernet.

Provided you have the ATEM on the network and the ATEM software running on a computer or device that can access the same network you can control the ATEM.

There is no specific need for directly connected control except for using the ATEM as a webcam type device eg with OBS/vMIX.
