Rendering DJI Mini 2 drone-video won't work

PostSun Sep 26, 2021 5:26 pm

Hi,
for some reason I cannot anymore render DJI Mini 2 drone-video (4K@25fps). It worked ok with Studio 16 (cannot remember the exact version, probably the last) but when I upgraded to 17, it stopped working. Eventhough if I try to render:
- the same material as before with same settings
- the same material with default youtube (i.e. non-4K -settings)
- completely new material & project

GoPro-material still renders ok to 4K.

When I try to render, it kind of starts, but nothing happens. CPU goes up but e.g. timeline is not updated. I cannot stop the render but when I close the app, it asks whether to cancel it (render). And even after exiting the app, the Davinci process still remains active and needs to be killed through Task Manager.

Davinci Studio Version 17.3.1
Windows 10 64-bit
32 GB RAM
NVidia GTX 1080

Tried to uninstall & reinstall without success.

Anybody have had any similar issues with drone or any other material?

Classic fix: when you report a problem, it goes away. Obviously didn't reboot after reinstall. Now after rebooting it works ok. Probably codecs were corrupted or something...

So, this is now fixed.
