Get a Red. They have been doing this for years. Might even hold a patent.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

Yep Red has been doing this, even possible with Magic Lantern raw on the 5D, 7D...etc if I recall. It hasn't caught on in a meaningful way,

Dual gain sensors negate the temporal issues and operate on a similar principal. Two separate sensor read out amplifications captured, then combined to reduce noise. Cameras containing dual gain include the C70, Arri Alexa's, Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k...

DR is fully supporting it. Either with Red's algorithm to combine them or by opening a second input to let you decide, like for masking.

"Security track" for video, why not?

Kim Janson wrote:So what editing SW would support this, or is it recorded as two separate videos already on camera?
Every software that support stereo 3d clip, from long time software can manage together or corrected separated two eyes video channel and blend in different way.
One way to have what you ask is shooting with stereo rig with zero disparity and (obviously) dual cam with trilevel sinc to match at pixel data.
