18.1 Marker names not showing in marker list

I can't find any post on this so I presume it doesn't happen to anyone. (Win10)

The marker names do not show in the marker list...
They do show in the timeline when hovering over them (why not just show names in the timeline actually, the space is there).

Marker Name is reflected in the Notes column in the Edit Index.

Wow... I think I knew but forgot. Thanks!

Only a little confusing....

I just tried both a timeline marker and a clip marker (with a description) and nothing shows up in the Edit Index "notes" column. Both of these markers are on the open timeline that I am working with.

Is it safe to assume you have selected an appropriate Show Markers option in the Edit Index options menu?
