Hi all!
I use Davinci Resolve 18 Studio Latest on Windows 11 Enterprise. The follwing issue is driving me nuts and had it in Windows 10 Ent./Resolve 17 also.
This specialized PC has 8 screens connected to 2 NVidia Quadro GPUs (4 on each), latest studio drivers. This is a work/production pc and no games or other crap is installed. It is very stable.
Resolve is configured to use 3 displays for the Edit Page.
More often then not, when I get into a resolve project, the previously assigned displays change and I have to reassign them. The process is even more annoying thanks to Resolves list of available displays not corresponding to Windows numbered list of displays.
As you may know, multi display identification/number has really improved in Windows 11. Since upgrading to Window 11, all my multi-diplay apps behave correctly except Resolve: Blender, Unity3D, Visual Studio Professional, Bitwig, Nuendo to name a few.
Windows being garbage, I would think that it's a MS issue as usual but since the problem is only found when using Resolve, I thought I'd post it here.
Does anyone know how to address this issue? Is it a bug? How can I help in troubleshooting/resolve this annoyance?
Thanks in advance for taking the time and have a very good time doing whaterver you're doing right now.
PS: sorry for my approximate english
