DaVinci resolve EDL export format

PostFri Aug 12, 2022 8:14 am

Hi I'm new to DaVinci resolve. I was wondering if I were to export my 1080 timeline with 4k footage as an Edl. Will the resulting file have 4k footage or 1080?

EDLs contain source and record timecode, reel number, event number and transitions and keys with duration. There is NO other information in an EDL.

IOW, if the target system has your 4K sources, it should work with those.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.
