Gyro stabilization not available when using m43 lumix vario

PostSun Aug 14, 2022 5:44 pm

Hey guys,

I'm running the latest resolve version, as well on my bmpcc4k. The gyro option is available with my sigma 150-600 + metabones adapter. But it's not with my lumix vario lenses 12-35 and 100-300. (lens stabilization is turned off)

Do you know guys why this is happening? Is there any fix for that?

Is it turned off on the lens only or in the camera too?
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Uli's on track. If OIS is turned on in the camera, whether or not the lens has it, Gyro won't work.

Fortunately, you can assign OIS to one of the three buttons on top for quick access. Unfortunately, there's no indicator on screen for whether or not it's on or off. :o

Can you share a clip for testing?

Problem solved, yeah the stabilize option was turned on indeed. I was looking in the menu with the wrong lens, my bad  .

Sadly I realized that this is not working for my setup, which is a gimbal on a tripod with a 600mm lens (FF equivalent). That is for filming wildlife from a boat.

Thanks guys for your help!

That would definitely need mechanical measures.
