Really helpful thanks. But on the 40mm of the BMPCC it says 15.36mm when it should be 115.2mm right? otherwise great job.

So "Yes" ;)

I find that using the the diagonals when comparing 3:4/3:2 sensors with 16:9 sensors are not really exact.

Instead one should primarily concentrate on the horizontal FOV when talking about 16:9 sensors. That makes a lot more sense in the real world.
