Render all tracks separately?

Is it possible to batch render all of the tracks in a timeline as separate files, or can you only batch render clips?

Are we talking video, audio, or both?

Are you wanting all the clips in a track to come out as one file, or individual files?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I'm most interested in rendering audio this way, but I don't see why it wouldn't be useful to do the same with video in some common circumstances.

I want each audio track in the timeline to be one file, not split into the original clips. When I finish an edit and move on to mixing the audio, I export each of my timeline audio tracks as one single wav file. This way, when I go into Reaper, I have all my audio on separate tracks and it's still synced to the video. Even when my audio source material isn't coming from the camera at all, I still prefer to place and sync sounds in Resolve before mixing in Reaper.

Fore video - you could nest each track as a compound clip. Then render as clips (now rendering each track). Once render is done you can decompose the compound clips to get all the clips back in the timeline
Mac Pro 7,1 | 3.2Ghz 16 Core | 192GB RAM | Radeon Pro Vega II Duo, Radeon RX 6900XT | Ultrastudio 4K Mini
macOS 14.3.1 | Resolve Studio 18.6.5 | Desktop Video 12.3.1

Huh, cool idea. Is there any reason that wouldn't work for audio?

OK.

I believe if you change the audio Output (Deliver page) to All Timeline Tracks, you'll get what you want.

For audio, you can take a look at Fairlight's Bounce selected tracks to new layer action, under the timeline menu.

Cool, thanks. Where can I find the new wav files after I bounce them so I can bring them into Reaper?

Timeline menu > Bounce Selected Tracks to New Layer

The Clip contextual menu > Export Audio Files function provides greater flexibility over exports including file format, channel format, and sample rate.

You can right click the new clip in the media pool and reveal in finder/file explorer.

The location should be something like <CaptureFolder>/<project>/<timeline>/ where <CaptureFolder> is the "save clips to" path in project settings, under capture and playback.
