NVidia encoder no longer works on deliver page

PostMon Dec 07, 2020 7:45 pm

V 17.0B Build 13 (beta 4)

If you select NVidia as the encoder nothing can be rendered.
The error message says "Current clip could not be processed - Failed to encode the video frame"
It works fine with the Native encoder (which is so much slower)

This was working fine in all previous public betas.

I just tried with the YouTube 1080p preset, switching to TYPE NVidia and it worked just fine. Any other details about your setup that might be relevant?

That doesn't work for me, sadly.

Any time I try the NVidia encoder it won't render.

I have a GTX 1050ti, whereas I see you have a P4000. That is probably the difference.

I could try switching to the game drivers I guess. I use the studio drivers since that is what NVidia recommends.

I have a GTX 1050Ti and the NVIDIA encoder works fine.

I'm using the current 457.30 Studio driver. What version are you using?

No problems here in Studio 17b4 for Windows using a lowly GTX 960 (4GB).
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Actually I do - Main Concept. I'll delete it and see what happens.

That fixed it. I had installed Main Concept under beta3 where everything worked fine. I guess beta 4 and Main Concept don't play nice atm.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

I had exactly the same problem with Main Concept. At the same time, the x264 plugin does not lead to problems in the work of the NVidia encoder.
