DaVinci Resolve Studio Watermark

PostSun Aug 21, 2016 2:38 am

So I recently upgraded to 12.5 from my Resolve 11.

When I opened a previously created project and applied a color correction from a still captured back when I was on 11, I'm smacked with a "DaVinci Resolve Studio" watermark.

Which is strange because I paid for the old version of DaVinci Resolve and have the dongle and everything.

I really needed to use some old grades from the gallery on this new project and I couldn't figure out the issue.
So I tried reinstalling version 11.3.1, and I could apply the color correction the exact same way as I always used to no problem. However, the 11.3.1 version crashes now without ceasing. Which makes it impossible to get any work done.

Anyone know what's with the watermark?

Or an effective way of reverting back to DaVinci Resolve 11?

It sounds like you installed DaVinci Resolve, but if you have a dongle you need DaVinci Resolve Studio. Bach up your database and projects then try 12.5.1 that was recently released.

Okay yeah that seems to have done the trick. It's been working with no issues for two days now.

Thanks for the help!
