Can I use a .sbv file to import captions into Resolve?

PostMon Jan 14, 2019 8:37 pm

After uploading my video to youtube, I am able to download a .sbv file that has all the auto-generated captions and timings etc. Is there a way I can import this into Resolve as a starting point for captions? This would be a huge time saver!
Configuration:
Resolve Studio 15.2.2
Windows 10 Pro
16 Core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X. 64GB RAM
Dual GTX 1080 Ti's
24TB RAID
Intensity Pro 4k
(1) 1080P Display, (1) 27” Display, (1) HPz24 1080P Display for Grading

Not directly, but there are quite a few websites or programs to convert subtitle formats.

Try subtitleconverter.net, subconverter.rest7.com or rev.com/captionconvert.

Or programs like Subbits Subtitler (PC and Mac) and Annotation Edit Suite (Mac), which are professional tools.
Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio
iMac 2017 Radeon Pro 580 8 GB VRAM and 32 GB RAM
