This is Windows, after all. "Upgrades" often don't go well. Also, privacy concerns with 10.
Yes, I know.
That's normally also my thing.
But from time to time it's nessesary to upgrade for being able to use new features.
Otherwise we would still work on Windows 3.1 (or CP/M 2.2 on the good old Zilog Z80)
For my thing - even if I didn't do a clean install but only an upgrade of the Win7-Clone - Win 10 works like a charm on this machine with all installed software I could test until now.
And - like Blackmagic Disk Speed Test told me - Disk Access to the RAID0-Harddrives and also to the SSD for Render-Data is faster than on Windows 7
On Windows 7 the RAID0-Disk reached about 180 MB/s in the Disk Speed Test Tool, and the SSD went up to 330 - 350 MB/s (read and write Speed).
On Windows 10, the same RAID0-Disk runs up to 230 MB/s read and write Speed and the SSD goes "full throttle" up to 495 MB/s.
So IMHO it's absolutely worth it to upgrade to Win 10 Pro.
Thanks
