Could be the adapter, not the camera. How does the camera work? Charged battery and recording does the camera work alright?
Does this happen if the charger is NOT attached?
The fast draining took place when the adapter was NOT attached.
Camera and recording worked fine, but comparing to my Lumix cameras, this Pocket camera drains battery pretty quickly, twice or maybe 3 times as fast.
Also it gets quite warm after being switched on for a short while.

Most cameras draw power while battery is in it, even if turned off. Mine did same thing with BM battery, Nikon Battery only goes down 10% during non use overnight.
Similar experience with BM battery. It was down to 47%, and I have not charged it since. After more than 12 hours I turned the camera on and the camera says battery is 41%, draining rate dropped.
