Are you direct connected between the computer and the switcher?
If so it should be easy.
Using a USB cable connect the switcher and the computer you installed the ATEM software on.
Run the ATEM Setup Utility. This will bring up a small dialog that will have some IP information. By default its 192.168.10.240. Make sure that subnet mask says 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.10.1
Now go to your open the control panel and choose Network and Sharing Center on the left there will be a link Change adapter settings. This will bring up a list of network connections. On each computer this will be different. You are looking for the one that says Local Area Connection. Right click on this icon and choose Properties.
This will open a box with a list in the center, you want to left click on the one that says Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP v4). Once selected click the properties button.
WHEW! Almost there.
A new dialog will appear (make sure you're on the General Tab). Click the Use the following IP radio button and enter the following.
IP Address: 192.168.10.200
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.10.1
Press okay to close out of the dialog.
You can now run the ATEM Software Control and it should connect. Certainly let us know if it doesn't.
NOW...if you are on a network, and want to add the switcher to the network it's a bit easier.
Obviously you're computer and switcher should be connected to the networks switch.
Change the IP Address and Gateway to match your current network. If you do not know the network details you will have to find out before proceeding.
Now you can run the ATEM Software Control and it should be connected.
