Best way to cue multiple lower thirds? (Name plates)

PostWed Jan 31, 2024 5:25 pm

What is the best way to display multiple lower thirds (still images) in order?
I have an ATEM and hyperdeck, and I would like to display 30+ attendees' names and job titles in order when the announcer cues. I don't want to go to the ATEM software or hyperdeck and load the media one by one... I know I can do it in the OBS/ ventuz, but is there anything I can buy/ use to do this job easily at the switcher level?
Thanks

Which ATEM do you have? On the larger models you can turn a knob or use a select button to change which graphic in the pool is selected and show via a DSK. You can't seem to do this in any of the ATEM minis
Other option is to drag and drop them into the live Media feed and replace/overwrite the previous one
Constellation 4K, ATEM Advanced Panel, VideoHub 20/20, Camera Control, SmartScopes 4K, Ursa Broadcast G2, Studio Camera 6K, Hyperdeck 4K Pro, Ultimatte 12 4K, UltraStudio Mini 4K, Web Presenter 4K

We use an ultrastudio with New Blue Titler. You can use a stream deck to cue the titles. The software imports Excel spreadsheets so you don't even have to type
4 x Ursa Broadcast with Studio viewfinder. Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k Ef. Ursa Mini 4k. Ursa Mini 4.6k. Television Studio Pro 4k. Hyperdeck Pro 4k. ATEM Camera control Panel. Autoscript EPIC IP 17. Constellation HD with Advanced panel

Thank you for your reply. The problem is sometimes I have over 50 name tags to cue....

Thanks for the information. Don't have 299 to spend on this software right now :(

I am using google spreadsheet data to feed an InDesign template and export all pages as a PowerPoint to add transition, then use the atem luma key to remove the background and cue.
