Timeline offline

since upgrading to the beta, iv had two projects continualy have the timelines go offline, the actual footage is fine and visible but just the timelines. im working around this by selecting the clip in timeline and the corresponding clip in media pool and conform locking it with media pool but this isn't a long term solution. Iv never had this happen before so can only assume it's a DVR b19 thing? could a setting somewhere have been changed during the upgrade that iv overlooked?

I would like to add, thinking about it I have also tried changing my workflow in my last two projects and use my speed editor more. my main change was using the source and timeline buttons along with marking in and out with smart insert so it could be an issue with that process perhaps?

UPDATE:

so I started a new project, dragged all clips straight in and edited on time line fine and no issues. then started a new project and used the speed editor to import, closed project and re opened, lost all connection between media in the timeline and the media pool

As you've seen in the other thread - this seems to relate to using 'source tape' as a workflow (and, likely, sync bins and multi-source). BM know about it.

POTENTIAL WORKAROUND:

Export the offline timeline as XML or OTIO and reimport. This is putting clips back online for me in very limited testing.

FOR SAFETY: select all and 'flatten multicam' to unnest.
