Connecting BMPCC6kPros to ATEM via ethernet?

PostFri May 31, 2024 9:17 pm

I'm wondering if there's a way to connect BMPCC 6k Pros to an ATEM extreme iso via ethernet that will allow for both video transmission as well as camera control? I see with the new Cine camera you can connect it to a network via usb-c to ethernet adapter, and am wondering if that's possible to do with the 6kPro model, but in a way where I would also be able to control the camera and record a live switched show in ATEM at the same time? Is this wishful thinking? Would I be able to map individual cameras on a network to different ATEM channels if connecting them via ethernet is possible?

Currently only the Studio cams output image over ethernet, and that only woks with the camera converter. IP is right around the corner but will likely only be available to cams with a 10G port.

Good Luck
