What camera do folk think this frame grab was shot on?

Canon 5D mark III

DVX100B with a RedRock Micro adapter.

Hacked GH2 with Panasonic LA7200 adapter

Not enough aliasing for a Canon 5D

Alex Mitchell was closest. The camera was a Sony PMW-EX1 with Quyen and Hien Le's Letus Extreme groundglass based 35mm film emulator with a Nikon lens. This was the same sensor/adaptor combination that director Gareth Edwards used for his feature "Monsters".

Due to the generous size of the prism image erector path, it was possible to fine tune this adaptor with adjustable shims and screws to view a large image area on the groundglass. From memory the image could be 31mm wide.

A HD level image of test charts could be achieved. Sadly, thieves stole the adaptor along with a whole bunch of other stuff during a home break-in.

You are most likely correct. I did not know there was an off topic section. My bad. I did find it when I searched hard enough.

I was pestilentially curious to discover if anyone might mis-identify the image as from a BM product and reassuringly no one fell for it.
