Blackmagic app Audio Source issues

Good day. I am new to using the Blackmagic app, so please be patient. I am having issues with the audio source settings when using an external mic connected over Bluetooth.

My setup:
iPhone 15 Pro
DJI OSMO MIC 2
Blackmagic App v 1.4.000041

Issue(s)
1. The audio source settings do not stay how they are set between app uses. Is there a way to set them never to change?

2. I always make sure the app is completely closed when connecting the Mic via Bluetooth to my iPhone. Once I confirm it is connected, I open the Blackmagic app. Sometimes, the external mic isn't even an option to select from (yes the Bluetooth setting is turned on in accessories). How long does it take the app to recognize there's an external device? Sometimes I even close the app and wait a few minutes then reopen it. It is almost random when it sees the mic and when it doesn't.

3. a very odd thing occurs when the app recognizes the mic. I select the mic and return to "camera" at which point there is a delay in the source monitor picking up the mic. The moment the mic is recognized, the app automatically records.

What if you leave the app on while connecting the DJI mic?

No difference...

At this point my biggest concern is the automatic record once the app begins to pick up the audio signal. Super frustrating to have a bunch of random 2 sec clips mixed in with the main video.

No 3 is not normal behavior and I’ve never seen it. Can u test on board and other microphones as it maybe related to your DJI Mike and and the DJI app?

There seems to be a bug with this new version. I try to monitor the audio with my bluetooth headphones but when I start recording the audio output automatically switches the same audio I´m using for input, which is the USB-c carrying the mic signal.

For #3, can you turn off "Use volume button to trigger record"?

Which USB-C mic are you using?
Can you check if update 1.4.1 works for you?
