Raw on OG micro cinema

PostSun Jun 16, 2024 3:20 am

I have an OG Micro Cinema camera. I installed the camera software app and plugged it in and it's up to date according to that, but the raw is still saved as the folder of DNG files. Is there a way to get Blackmagic raw on it, and if not how do I import it into resolve 18? I can't find the button to install it as a sequence, so I have to resort to ProRes instead at this point. Anyone have any Ideas?? Thanks!!

There is only CinemaDNG. You import it by selecting the driver / folder in the Media Page.

There are appear to be two issues(?) 1) this camera only shoots cDNG, no braw. 2) you can import cDNG sequences as clips rather than individual frames by clicking the 3 dots on the upper right of the media page and selecting "Display Frame Mode". Select "sequence".

Wow. I've been using this camera and shooting raw for years and never knew you could do this. Thank you.

Not only RAW, but Resolve will recognize any sequence of images that is enumerated by name as such too, given they are in the same directory. I do some 3D animation, and all the individually rendered frames are easily recognized as a single clip.
