Not sure who I should address this to, nor how far this would go.
I have been following the articles about the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive.
I managed to get an Apple Vision Pro (AVP) direct from the US to Australia back in February.
I had one of my programmers develop an AVP App to view 3-D models of teeth taken with a 3D dental Scanner.
This alone is a world first application - named sc.ANNE.view - tricky to be released as the AVP has not yet been launched in Australia.
Then I also bought the Canon RF 5.2mm dual lens for the Canon R5 and realised that there is no definitive workflow to get Vision into the AVP. I have been considering getting my programmers to develop such workflow.
Next, I also read about the Canon C400 and immediately after that saw the article about the Immersive.
*** A very straightforward question: Is it possible for me to buy a pre-production Immersive and become a beta tester for this and the Blackmagic 3D workflow.
I can see that the Immersive could have applications in the orthodontic and dental world, as I have been always been interested in 3-D vision/capture of patients' faces.
The orthodontic world has been pursuing this idea for the last 20 years and no one has come up with anything substantial. So your Camera could well have uses in the medical world.
I am also very comfortable with DaVinci Resolve to the point that I have converted ppl to Resolve from FCP and Premiere.
I currently do Beta testing for a company in Silicon Valley.
Hope we can discuss this.
