How would one communicate with the Micro G2? No Bluetooth.
It would have to be hard wired.

That's the point. I want one of these that connect to the SDI port.

He has responded in his comments regarding using the SDI API.

"Sadly Blackmagic has not made an api for USB-C control, even though it must have it because they have products that use it. Same for HDMI. SDI is the only api i could use and using sdi is big, bulky and probably not something I know how to do."

I don't believe that's correct. The REST API works over usbc (ethernet/network) and is well documented. BT/SDI doesn't use an API and relies on good old fashioned coding. Maybe there's a disconnect between usb connector and usb protocol? REST camera control between a laptop and camera can just be straight usbc with no need for adapters though it's still a network connection.
