Rec.709 to log lut

I know its stupid but i have iphone 13 pro so i have no apple log support. So i need rec709 to log lut for blackmagic camera app.

You cannot convert a rec709 to log file. The support of log start from iPhone 15. Before it there isn’t a profiled log for iPhone.

Converting Rec.709 to LOG via a LUT in the phone will not give you any more sensor data to have better images or better distribution of bit depth to specific parts of the image.

The full extent of the sensor is available in the 709 image and can be manipulated in DaVinci Resolve.

Have a look here and the Lut I provided. Rec. 2020 on iPhones prior to the 15 and log, will give you the max DR, to play with:

There is no Rec.709 to log lut. There is also no point in using one because it will degrade the image. But if you feel like you have your reasons for it just create it yourself. Throw a clip into Resolve, go to the Color Page, add a CST to the node and set the input to Rec.709 and output to whatever log you had in mind. Rightclick the clip thumbnail below the viewer and export LUT.
