Hi Roman,
I'm doing a production these days where in addition to 3 UBG2 I've connected 3 PTZ RGBLink cams to a Constellation 8K using the Lan ports on the back of the 2 M/E Advanced Panel 20 via IP Visca just entering their IP addresses in the software control setup and everything works fine.
I think the Visca port (1259) is selected automatically.

Hi Roman,
have you the option to change the port number in the Canon cam settings panel ?
It could be a solution

Hi Roman,
I've never tried my RGBLink PTZ (model RGB20X-NDI-WH) with Companion, but I can do a test tomorrow and let you know.
Have you tried connecting your RGBLINK Vue 4K directly to the Constelation HD via ip visca with the same network parameters?

No because there is Atem TVS 4K8 and it not support IP Visca .. This is suported only in Constelation family ..

Hi Roman,
I haven't tried to control my RGBlink cams with Companion yet...
But I did some more testing to control another PTZ cam I have with the Constellation 8K and the 2 M/E Advanced Panel via IP Visca.
This PTZ cam is an Avonic CM60 IP (discontinued), which I use together with the 3 RGBlink when I need to work with 4 PTZ cams. I can control the 4 cams via IP Visca with an RGBCTL-PTZ-BK Camera Controller simply by setting their IP addresses and UDP 1259 as port and everything works great!
Since the Avonic CM60 is IP Visca compatible I thought I could remote it like the other RGBLinks through the Constellation 8K and 2M/E Advanced Panel, and I tried but this one doesn't work!
So I went to see the configuration interfaces of both:

This below is one of the RGB20X-NDI-WH cam that work perfectly, the Visca port is 1259 and there is nothing else referring to PTZ control.

This below is of the Avonic CM60 IP, where there is the UDP port 1259 (which I think is for Visca commands) and a PTZ port 5678 set by default!?

I can't understand why this Avonic CM60 doesn't work with the Constellation since with any standard IP Visca PTZ Controller everything works fine.
I hope that someone more expert than me (I'm not) can give some explanations and I thank him/them in advance.

Apart from all this, a curiosity that I noticed is that to remote the PTZ RGBlink I have to set "SDI" in the Camera Control setting of the 2M/E Advanced Panel and not "VISCA" as I would have taken for granted...

Has anyone had luck with using Marshall CV PTZ cameras and Visca over IP?

It would be great if someone blackmagic could expland in the manual about the requirements for Visca over IP and the expected behaviour of the advance panel.

IE the pan/tilt/zoom commands and when the camera should send a response back etc.

Until then i have been using Wirehshark to inspect the packets being sent and how the ATEM behaves.

Many Thanks.

We have hard coded support for UDP port 52381.

We send initially Zoom Position Inquiry alternated with PTZ Position Inquiry until something responds. Moving the joystick should send out the requisite commands. I hope this helps.

Obviously make sure everything is on the same network.

Thanks Gary,

I spent the last day working out the same thing and was able to get a camera working with it. (CV620-WH)

i wrote a small server that converted the viscaip to visca over rs232.

A small feature request would be to set an optional different ip. :)
