Subtitle Export Settings for YouTube and TikTok

PostTue Oct 29, 2024 9:12 pm

Is there a way that I can turn on subtitle features for the quick youtube and tiktok exports?

My use cases are the following.

For YouTube, I want to be able to choose the srt without formatting option so I can upload it to youtube with my video and the user has control over the look and feel of their subtitles.

TikTok doesn't have subtitle customization so for that quick export I want to burn in the subtitles.

I don't understand how to get the YouTube Quality out of the custom Export options to be able to export my two files.

Yes, you can totally add subtitles for quick YouTube and TikTok exports! For YouTube, just choose the SRT option without formatting to give users control, and for TikTok, go for burned-in subtitles since there's no customization. To get that YouTube quality, check the custom export settings sometimes tweaking them helps. By the way, subtitles can help boost TikTok views free too.
