Black Friday Deals

PostFri Nov 05, 2021 3:39 pm

With Black Friday coming I thought I would post what I’m looking for and others could do the same and if we run across a good deal on those items we could post it here.

I’m looking for CFast cards for my 6k pro. I would prefer Angelbird.

Good catch! I just ordered one. This will be perfect to keep the 256 GB ProGrade Cards I have for the UMPG2 and then I can keep the 1 TB Angelbird in the P6K Pro. When need be I can swap them around. But then when only using the UMPG2 I could throw the 1 TB in and 1 256 GB and be able to record for long time without worry.

Anyone have any Black Friday Deals they are going after?

right now, I'm still looking for an "A Cam", but I want a BMD camera. Might go back to a 12k and I would REALLY need to justify the purchase of a Cine 12k.

As for lighting, I was hoping for a sale from Aputure to get a discounted 1200d/x or even a 600c mkII.

DZOFilm has a huge sale on their lenses. Especially the Vespid Primes.

As for what I'm buying: M4 Pro MacBook Pro because it's time to replace the old 2018 MacBook Pro. Order is placed, just waiting for it to ship.

Native Instruments/iZotope are offering iZotope RX 11 Advanced for US$239 to owners of previous versions, and for $720 to everyone else. PlugIn Boutique is also offering this and doesn’t charge tax.

FabFilter products are 25% off.

I’m looking for Schoeps to offer a discount on its new KMIT shotgun mike. Hey, they offered a Black Friday deal last year for the first time ever :)

Tilta Cage is looking good. Loving how they set it up so you can do vertical shooting. If I was to get a PYXIS I’d probably go with a Tilta Cage. Only question is how it works with the UCine EVF and the PYXIS Monitor.
