portable wi-fi recommendations to support remote camera

PostWed Nov 20, 2024 3:04 pm

Would like to be able to try the remote camera functionality in the BMC app (iPhone 16 Pro, iPad (gen 10), but it appears to require WI-FI (obvious need for a comm link). Unfortunately the filming site does not have wi-fi, so need to bring something with to support production. Are there any suggestions on a possible solution for 'remote location' production using these interesting tools?
Thanks in advance,

If wired not possible, try Personal Hotspot on iPhone to connect iPad by WiFi if you have mobile data available on iPhone. I never tried remote until tonight when I saw the post Rick is referring to but it seems to work fine using my iPad and iPhone.
