Hi all, I would like to ask a question regarding the matter mentioned above. I am using the free version of DaVinci Resolve 19 for video editing. Recently, I imported a video recorded with a Panasonic camcorder (MTS file format), but I was unable to hear the audio.
Normally, I edit gaming livestream videos, and the audio works perfectly fine. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue?
It is hard to say without having more information. Are you able to upload a sample of the audio to try and see what could be the problem?
If not, check weather or now the codec is support and if its not, as Uli suggested. You could transcode the file to something that is supported by free version of resolve that you are using. You could use some free video and or audio converters like recommended Shutter Encoder.

I am getting the same problem. Recently upgraded to Resolve 19 Studio. Audio ribbons from Panasonic .MTS files which worked as expected perfectly in Resolve 18 (free) are now flatlining when the same project is opened in 19. I tried pulling one of these into a new Resolve Project and get the same result. Video okay but no audio trace at all. The .MTS file plays with expected audio in Windows Media Player, VLC and the free video editor ShotCut. I'm sure I shall be able to do a conversion, but it would mean recreating all my cuts and other adjustments.
