Is it possible to Default Resolve Fusion to Mid Flow?

PostSat May 25, 2024 9:51 pm

The "Mid Flow" Fusion Workspace layout preset -- Is it possible to set that as the default view somewhere so I'm not having to change it every time I start a session?
System specs:
OS: Windows 11
CPU: Intel i912900K 3200Mhz 16 core
RAM: 128GB DDR4-3000
GPU: NVIDIA A6000

When using the vertical layouts, enabling the Flow > Build Direction > Vertical option in the Fusion settings. You can then save alternative layouts based on these two vertical presets using the Workspace > Layout Presets submenu.

I know how to set the workspace to Mid Flow.

The question is, how to have Fusion always open as Mid Flow by default.

What's your point? That it the saved preset does not stay saved or what?

No the point is that it is difficult (if possible?) to set whatever preset one prefers as the default layout in the fusion tab.

I prefer "mid flow right", and each time i start resolve and go into the fusion tab, I have to switch to "midflow right". Sometimes even within the same session of resolve.

I know that i can probably set up a hotkey for it, but it would be much better if i could simply set "midflow right" as the default view for the fusiontab.

Can it be done?
