Since the new Blackmagic cameras and capture devices support 12G SDI, is there any possiblity that Blackmagic will build their own video standard for 1080p240/180/120 respectively 1080p200/150/100 live broadcast output via 12G SDI?
Anyone knows that are the current SSM capabilities for this camera ?
Many thanks,

In theory (though the BMD cameras may not have the processing to do it) you could use a similar technique to that used by some resource providers for RF SuperSlowMo Steadicams etc. which is to send multiple 1920x1080 HD images in a single 3840x2160 UHD frame. This would allow you to send 200fps or 240fps SSM HD phases in a standard 12G-SDI 50 or 60fps UHD frame.
Top Left 1/4 = Frame 1, Top Right 1/4 = Frame 2, Bottom Left 1/4 = Frame 3, Bottom Right 1/4 = Frame 4 etc.
Whether BMD's current cameras have the storage and processing to generate this signal I can't say - but it would be a logical way to do it without having to re-invent an SDI standard - and it would be compatible with SSM replay devices like EVS (which accept phases).
(Conventional Sony etc. cameras with SSM options have CCUs that output multiple HD/3G-SDI - and I assume 2110 IP option - feeds that are recorded via multiple EVS channels e.g. a 3xSSM camera running at 150/180fps will have 3 x 3G-SDI feeds with one SDI output carrying frame 1, frame 4, frame 7, the next SDI output carrying frame 2, frame 5. frame 8, and the third SDI output carrying frame 3, frame 6, frame 9 etc. If you feed these into and out of a Quad 3G to/from 12G converters you can carry the three phases as a single UHD frame in a regular 12G SDI signal.
The far higher frame rate, specialised, XMo cameras work very differently and store the video in the camera head at high frame rate and are then remotely controlled by EVS controllers to play out the video from the camera head I think. EVS absolutely dominates the mainstream replay market - particularly singe GV ditched the Quantel/SAM LiveTouch product - and now only have their watered-down AMPP LiveTouch-X product)
