Micro Studio camera G2 IP set up

PostMon Jan 13, 2025 6:02 pm

Hi,
Have been trying to connect a BM micro studio via IP to have control of functions using the Cyanview or Skaarhoj OCP but struggling to set the Web media manager with the camera set up software.

After some searching I eventually found the Software and downloaded ZIP file to MacBook, but when trying to click on software icon it doesn’t open anything other than the pdf manuals.

Has anyone managed to open the Camera set up software and enable the Network access buttons?

Did email support but no reply so thought I’d try here.

Any advice much appreciated as we have location jobs and would really like to use the BM micro cameras in future.

You need to download the Camera Setup Utility from the support page, 9.2 is the latest.

Thanks Howard,

Can this be installed on a iPad Pro as the Macbook we have is too old to run the required OS needed for this software.

Don’t really want to purchase a new laptop just to adjust a course of camera settings.

You don't need a new laptop to control the camera but you do need at least Monterey to run Camera Setup Utility 9.2. I've got a 10 year old MacBook Air under Big Sur that will run Camera Utility 8.4 which should be all you need to configure web media access.

Good Luck
